Morning Man Classic: Jim Palmer!

The World Series is tied 2-2! With baseball fever in full swing, let’sshine a light on one of the games hunkiest-ever players. Thanks to his gig as a Jockey¬† underwear spokesman, Jim Palmer isn’t just famous for his hall of fame baseball career.

He had movie star looks and a rocking body that got him that lucrative endorsement gig in the late 1970s.

He appeared in the company’s national print and television advertisements as well as on billboards at Times Square in New York City and other major cities. He donated all proceeds from the sale of his underwear poster to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation,

The right-handed pitcher played his entire 19-year major league baseball career for the Baltimore Orioles and was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1990.

Now 73, the still handsome Palmer works as a television broadcaster and is currently a spokesman for the national “Strike Out High Cholesterol” campaign.
