Monday Morning Man: Hill Harper!

I really enjoy the new game shows that air on ABC on Sunday night – especially The $100,000 Pyramid.

Last night one of the celebrity players was the handsome actor Hill Harper who is best is known for his nine-year run on CSI: NY. He was also a regular or a recurring cast member on the series Limitless, The Good Doctor, Covert Affairs, Live Shot, Homeland, The Handler, City of Angels, and Married… with Children.

Hill made his feature film debut in Spike Lee’s Get on the Bus and then appeared in He Got Game. His other films include Beloved, Skulls, The Visit, Loving Jezebel, and Hav Plenty.

He’s an actor and an author with an impressive Ivy League academic background. He graduated magna cum laude from Brown University in 1988. In 1992, Harper graduated with a J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School. In addition, he also received his Master of Public Administration degree from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

He became friends with Barack Obama when they were both attending Harvard.

Harper is also the author of several books: Letters to a Young Brother: MANifest Your Destiny, published in 2006; Letters to a Young Sister: DeFINE Your Destiny, published in 2008; and The Conversation: How (Black) Men and Women Can Build Loving, Trusting Relationships, published in 2010. His books, The Wealth Cure: Putting Money in Its Place and The Wiley Boys were both published in 2011. His book, Letters to an Incarcerated Brother: Encouragement, Hope, and Healing for Inmates and Their Loved Ones was published in 2013.
