Sunday Morning Man: Dylan Walsh! Dr. Sean McNamara on FX’s Nip/Tuck, Dylan Walsh’s character has been stabbed – nearly to death – by his crazy stalker, had his wife turn in to a lesbian, and found out his best friend is really the father of his teenaged son.

And through it all, the 44-year-old actor has remained as handsome as ever!

While mostly a good guy on Nip/Tuck, Dyan has been taking on some bad guy roles on the side lately. He played a man who killed his own kids and his wife – and his girlfriend! – in an episode of Law & Order: SVU last season. And this fall, he plays a guy who turns out to be too good to be true in the feature film The Stepfather.

I met Dylan and his co-star Julian McMahon a few years ago when Nip/Tuck was exploring Julian’s character possibly being in love with Sean.

“From the first season, that’s been the joke between us, that that’s where the show’s going,” Dylan said. “But, you know, we’ve always said a thousand times that it’s two heterosexual guys that love each other. I think it was explored more [last season] out of some people’s sort of half-joking kind of wondering about it. Fans saying that as a joke. So I thought it was kind of cheeky to explore it but I don’t think it was that serious ultimately.”

One Remark

  1. I enjoyed The Stepfather- this was just as a great as the first. Dylan Walsh did a great job filling the shoes of Terry O’Quinn
