Megan Mullally on her new movie ‘Why Him?’ and the latest on that possible ‘Will & Grace’ reunion
Megan Mullally is making the talk show rounds to promote her role in the new movie Why Him? which also stars James Franco and Bryan Cranston.
But, of course, she’s also being asked a lot about the possible return of Will & Grace.
The two-time Emmy winner is absolutely game but is still waiting for a green light from NBC which retains the rights to the 1998-2006 sitcom.
‘At this point, there’s nothing official,’ Mullally said on NBC’s The Today Show earlier today.
‘Come on NBC! Get it together!’
The four main cast members from the classic sitcom Mullally, Debra Messing, Eric McCormack and Sean Hayes as well as series co-creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick were reported in early October to be in the early stages of discussions. ‘
NBC was supposedly very happy with the reaction to the 10-minute mini episode released in September urging viewers to get out and vote for Hillary Clinton.
More than 6.5 million people saw the YouTube clip.
‘We had such a good time doing it and ever since then there’s been a lot of rumors about coming back,’ Mullally says. ‘We all really love each other … so if we could do it, it would be fun.’
