My apologies to the LA Gay & Lesbian Center for just getting around to posting these clips from their wonderful gala last Saturday night at the Century Plaza Hotel.

I got a links a few days ago and forgot to share them! But better late than never. I know you all read my RECAP of the evening on Sunday but now you can actually see for yourself how very funny hostess Chelsea Handler was, how Zachary Quinto got to know Coco Peru, and why Wanda Sykes doesn’t think she deserves any big awards for her activism – yet.

Anywhere Coco Peru is performing or speaking, I want to be in the audience. This is an amazing person who is both funny and touching and very strong.

Wanda Sykes thought her being awarded after being out piublicly for just a year was a bit premature but her visibility and her outspokenness has done wonders for the LGBT community at a very important time in our history. Bravo Wanda!
