She’s Bernadette Peters and she’s a showbiz dynamo who turns 65 today.

Miss Peters has been in plenty of feature films (The Jerk, Pennies From Heaven, It Runs in the Family), scores of TV movies (The Last Best Year, Once Upon a Mattress, Living Proof) and guested on many television shows (Smash, Grey’s Anatomy, Ugly Betty).

But it is on the Broadway stage where she has become a showbiz legend. Nominated for seven Tony Awards and winning for Song and Dance and Annie Get Your Gun, she has starred in Sunday in the Park With George, The Goodbye Girl, Into the Woods and revivals of Gypsy, Follies and A Little Night Music.
