Lunch Break Video: See some brilliant comedy from Jimmy Kimmel’s post-Oscar show with Oprah!
I was finishing my Oscar coverage late Sunday night and Jimmy Kimmel’s post-Oscar special came on.
I had no expectations and had it on as background noise mainly. But I was soon sucked in by the inspired comedy of the special and the opportunity to see Oprah Winfrey in ways we never have before.
Billy Crystal kicks off the show by hustling Kimmel out of his very own “Oscar.” Next, “Movie: The Movie” riffs on big Hollywood clichés for 8-minutes featuring an incredible cast of dozens of celebrity guests, including George Clooney, Charlize Theron, Tom Hanks, Ed Norton, Matt Damon as a bunch of grapes, Meryl Streep (in a moustache) and Gabourey Sidibe, amongst many, many others. Oprah then joins the show to discuss wardrobe malfunctions, her entrée into Hollywood and more. Kimmel then ran a few pitches by Oprah for her OWN network – this is a real scream!
