Lunch Break Video: Linda Ronstadt and Phoebe Snow team up for a classic duet on “Saturday Night Live”

Phoebe Snow died yesterday which makes her many fans very sad. Thankfully we have her music to listen to forever. When I interviewed Phoebe in 2008, I mentioned that I remember when she and her close friend Linda Ronstadt belted out It’s In His Kiss (The Shoop Shoop Song) on Saturday Night Live in the 70s. It was something else.

“We just watched that together!” she told me. “We were intensely watching YouTube and we were just two nuts back then dancing the Cha-Cha! We wondered, ‘Is that us?’ We always talked about recording it. Maybe we still will.”

Sadly, they won’t have that chance. But here is the performance from SNL.
