Lunch Break Video: Birthday girl Carole King sings a few of her many, many hits

Hard to believe that the ever-youthful Carole King is 68 years old today.

She is touring the US with James Taylor and I hope to catch them at Hollywood Bowl.

Carole is responsible for co-writing and/or singing so many absolute classics: You’ve Got a Friend, Will You Love Me Tomorrow, Natural Woman, It’s Too Late, Jazzman, I Feel the Earth Move, Locomotion, Where You Lead, Go Away Little Girl, Take Good Care of My Baby, One Fine Day, Up On the Roof and many more.

Her album Tapestry showed the world that she is as fine a singer as writer and is one of the biggest sellers of all time. I could listen to it all day – every track is sensational with my favorite being So Far Away.
