It was truly overwhelming to be at the #SupremeCourt of the United States today to hear oral arguments for a set of cases that included the first case involving transgender civil rights to be argued before the court. Thank you to #AimeeStephens #GeraldBostock and the family of the late #DonaldZarda, everyday people, citizens, human beings fired from their jobs for being who they are who had the courage to fight back against that discrimination, a fight that took them all the way to the Supreme Court of the United States today. I just want this hug to extend to the entire spectrum of my #lgbtq+ family. Yesterday was an historic day for us no matter what those justices decide. We are here. We exist. We are beautiful. We are necessary. I want this hug to extend to everyone wo has ever experienced discrimination, oppression, violence, stigma, shame, trauma.
