Late Night Video: The Life Of Transgender Teen Aidan Destefano: ‘I Always Felt Like I Was Different’
This is a beautifully told story that aired on NBC’s The Today Show about transgender high school student Aidan Destefano. Aiden always knew that the identity in his head and heart didn’t match the reflection he saw in the mirror. A few years after discovering the word “transgender,” he began his transition from female to male in high school, and went from running with the girls’ team to competing with the boys. Here’s his story.
