Late Night Video: See the first trailer for the upcoming film “Broadway: Beyond the Golden Age”

Boy, this is delicious.

Broadway fans certainly know of the 2004 film Broadway: The Golden Years. I saw it at this cool theater on Beverly at Fairfax that is no longer around.

Anyway, I digress.

The news is that there is a sequel coming out at the end of the year called Broadway: Beyond the Golden Years and here is a trailer!

Lots of talk about Ethel Merman, a terrific Lauren Bacall anecdote and rare footage of Liza Minnelli starring with Chita Rivera in Chicago when she stepped in for Gwen Verdon for a stretch.

Can’t wait to see the whole thing.
