Late Night Video: See Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Alan Cumming get ‘Inappropriate’ with James Corden

You gotta to figure that when theater veterans James Corden, Alan Cumming and Jesse Tyler Ferguson are in the same room together, there’s bound to be some singing.

It happened last night when Cumming and Ferguson were guests on Corden’s The Late Late Show.

The trio launched into a sketch titled Inappropriate Musicals.

And were they ever.

They performed musicals numbers based off of very unlikely sources: Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, and Breaking Bad.

Modern Family star Ferguson, stepped into the role of Throne’s Ned Stark as he was about to get beheaded.

‘Birth and death, red and purple weddings, dire wolves and dragons have to grow,’ he sang. ‘So many white walkers, so many beheading. You can’t hold the door on tomorrow. Winter is coming, winter is coming, winter is coming all over you!’

Ferguson’s Broadway credits include a 1999 revival of On the Town and this year’s solo play Fully Committed.

Cumming won the Tony Award for Cabaret in 1998 and starred in last year’s revival of the show.

Corden appeared on Broadway in the play The History Boys and co-starred in the feature film version of the musical Into the Woods.
