Lady GaGa accuses former friend Perez Hilton of stalking her in NYC; the blogger responds
Lady GaGa and Perez Hilton used to be besties.
They clearly are not anymore.
While GaGa has been in LA promoting her new single Applause, Perez has been apartment hunting in New York. One of the places he looked at on Sunday was in GaGa’s building. She found out and took to Twitter to accuse him of stalking her.
She tweeted: @perezhilton STAY AWAY FROM ME + MY FAMILY YOU ARE SICK TRYING TO RENT AN APARTMENT IN MY BUILDING TO STALK ME. LEAVE ME ALONE!!! — Lady Gaga (@ladygaga)
Hilton has just posted a response to what he calls “Lady GaGa’s Lies”
I have long had plans to return to New York City more permanently. New York was my home for 6 years in the mid 90s, before I moved to Los Angeles. I also lived here for 3 months last year while doing an off Broadway show. I’m a new father and I am primarily focused on my family and where we will be most happy. I love New York and that is where me and my growing family want to call home right now. Sunday, my realtor showed us a list of possible apartments to rent. I learned only after the fact that Lady GaGa lives in one of the buildings we looked at, and she was across the country in Los Angeles when I viewed that building. After a day of innocent house-hunting, I am devastated and my heart hurts that my former very good friend, a person I used to call my “wifey” and traveled the world with, is making very public and very untrue allegations about me on Twitter. While it is still too painful for me to go into detail about why I chose to no longer make her a part of my life, I will say that I am a critic and not a “stalker”. Any allegation that I am stalking her, based on a day of house hunting with my baby boy and my mother, is utterly false, defamatory and now appears to be putting me and my family in danger. I will continue to be a critic – in a way that is not mean or involves name-calling, and I will continue to have an opinion and talk about music and songs, like GaGa’s “Applause”. I hope her fans stop sending me death threats, as the suggestion that I pose a danger to Lady GaGa is preposterous. If her fans want to send a message of support to Lady GaGa, they should buy her music. Notwithstanding my feelings about our personal relationship, I do wish Lady GaGa happiness and continued success and I assure you my family house hunting has nothing to do with her.

Bitch, please. You really expect us to believe that wasn’t the FIRST thing your realtor mentioned about the place??? Stop the lying and the hating. It doesn’t fit the totally phony “I’m a nicer person now” facade you’ve been fronting with! Your baby accessory isn’t working either!

Danny, that may very well be true. I’ll wait until it’s actually released in final form to make my own decisions. Let’s ASSume it to be true. Big deal? Nah. She’s made enough to live on forever. She gives away a huge amount of her income to her family (50%?) She’s done a lot for the gay community, etc. So on her way down or not, while she was “up” she has been a fairly positive addition to the often selfish musical world. I’d never wish anyone to fall regardless of what I think of his/her music.

Chaka: I couldn’t agree with you more. If anything he’s experiencing a bit of fast acting karma. Contrary to what I posted in my last post about not wishing someone to fall from grace, I’d be happy to see him fade away. He has been nothing but a nasty, bitter, contributor of hate and misinformation to so many people in order to make money.

I had a stalker and believe me it is no laughing matter. I wouldn’t wish the experience on anybody! If there is any truth to it, she has every right to nail him to the wall! If it’s a publicity stunt then she should be ashamed and pray that it never happens to her.
