Kylie Jenner opens up on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” about Caitlyn Jenner: ‘I like her better than Bruce’
Watched Keeping Up With the Kardashians last night as I tried to rouse myself from a Thanksgiving weekend coma.
There was an elaborate, over-the-top graduation party for Kylie Jenner (plus her sister Kendall who graduated a year earlier) that was just the epitome of excess. That and Kim Kardashian flying to New Orleans just for dinner and to Paris just for maternity clothes (“I can’t fly everyone here”) and some churros pretty much fed into every negative feeling people have about this family.
But they still have Caitlyn Jenner and her transition is one of the few things that’s interesting.
Kylie, 18, appears on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today and was asked by the host about her father’s transition.
‘I like her better than Bruce,’ Kylie admitted. ‘We talk about make-up and clothes, we bond a lot more. Not only that, there’s not a huge secret in the family. I feel like there was always this big secret and I’ve honestly known about it for a really long time. We actually caught him then dressing up as a girl when my sister and I were like six and seven. So we’ve known for awhile that there was something but it was never talked about.
“Honestly, like I’d be with my girlfriends sometimes and he then would come in and be like what are you guys talking about and kind of joke around and I knew there was something, but now I feel like we hang out a lot more there’s no secrets.
‘She’s really living her authentic true self. And I feel like that’s awesome and also I want to be someone from my generation to like be an example because I think that’s so awesome and I think that other girls and boys my age will maybe see that I’m so accepting and be accepting of other people too.’
Nicely said Kylie.
Now go to college!
