“Kiss Me, Kill Me” starring Gale Harold and Van Hansis has reached Kickstarter goal
Thrilled about this.
Thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign, Gale Harold and Van Hansis will be starring together in the film Kiss Me, Kill Me.
Producers needed $100,000 to begin production and have raised $131,231.
‘This movie is a passion project,’ they state on the Kickstarter page. ‘Every single person both before and behind the camera is involved because we believe in it. We are a small group, with a small film, and we want to make this movie for a small amount of money.’
Gale was, of course, Brian Kinney on Queer as Folk for five seasons while Van starred for several years on As the World Turns as Luke Snyder.
The film is described as an Alfred Hitchcock/Agatha Christie-style whodunit set in West Hollywood.
It is being directed by Casper Andreas and was written by David Michael Barrett. Andreas and Barrett are the producers.
The movie is expected to be released next year.
‘Thanks to you amazing people we are 100% funded and will definitely be making our film,’ the producers stated. ‘We are so grateful to all of you for this opportunity and we are incredibly excited to get into production.’
