Kathy Griffin calls Andy Cohen “deeply misogynistic” and the two are now in a full-blown feud
This ought to be great fodder for whenever these two put out their next books.
Kathy Griffin publicly referred to former friend and longtime CNN New Year’s Eve co-host Anderson Cooper as a “spineless heiress” for publicly coming out against her when she posed for a photo of a fake severed Donald Trump head.
The backlash was clearly over the top and Cooper no doubt was under pressure to distance himself from the incident in order to not give credence to Trump’s bellowing that CNN is ‘fake news’ etc.
If Cooper and Griffin indeed were close then the Silver Fox could have handled it a bit differently – especially in the weeks after his statement as Griffin’s bookings were being canceled.
Anyway, Cooper’s BFF Andy Cohen has been tapped to replace Kathy on CNN on New Year’s Eve. When TMZ caught up with him outside Los Angeles International Airport this week, he was asked about the D-Lister and through some shade: “Who? Who?” he responded. “I don’t know her.”
Griffin hit back hard from Australia where she is currently on tour: “Even when it’s on tape, there are doubters? He is NOT kidding w paps. Was my boss for 10 years. Treated me like a dog. Deeply misogynistic.”
