Justin Bartha on playing gay on “The New Normal”
John Stamos was the moderator of a panel a few weeks back at Paleyfest featuring the cast and creators of NBC’s The New Normal. Here is a portion of the evening where straight actor Justin Bartha is asked if it is still considered “brave” to play gay. He doesn’t think it is or ever was but also, does anyone else thing Justin sounds just like Michael Douglas?

I wish that there were more Gay actors that were willing to play gay on TV. I think its cool that Justin said that its hard for straight actors to play straight. I didn’t think Justin sounds especially like Michael Douglas.
