Great news: John Barrowman set to play a bad guy on “Desperate Housewives” this season

John Barrowman had tried, without success, to make it in US prime-time television with the mid-90s CBS soap Central Park West then about five years later with NBC’s short-lived Titans. Both were star-studded Dynasty knockoffs that did not click with the public.

Well now news comes that Barrowman, who stuck gold with Torchwood in the UK, is joining an established hit – Desperate Housewives. The show will be all the more delicious for his presence.

The Daily Mail reports that Barrowman will fly to Los Angeles in March to film several episodes. He will be the show’s main villain in the last section of the current season.

A lot of big-name guest stars like Lily Tomlin and Alfre Woodard for story arcs but the multi-talented Barrowman should be a real doozy!
