Jim Parsons praises Michael Ausiello’s ‘extremely moving’ book – to host Q&A with author Sept. 16

Earlier this summer, I read a preview copy of Michael Ausiello’s new book Spoiler Alert: The Hero Dies in preparation for an upcoming interview with the author.

Michael shares a remarkable journey of love and loss and this book is a must-read. It is, quite simply, one of the best books I have ever read. It made me feel so much. Lots of tears, lots of laughs. Quite a journey and if you no longer believe in love, you will again after reading Michael’s story about his life with husband Kit Cowan.

Will share more with you next week when I post an interview with Michael on the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s Vanguard Now blog. Before Michael went on to TV Guide, Entertainment Weekly and eventually became founder and editor-in-chief of TVLIne.com, he worked at the Center.

I echo everything that Jim Parsons says in this Instagram post below.

Spoiler Alert: The Hero Dies is on sale September 12. You can pre-order here.

I cannot speak highly enough of @michaelausiello 's upcoming book, #SpoilerAlertTheHeroDies but I will try to, when I host a Q and A with the author at @barnesandnoble at The Grove on September 16 at 2pm. The book is officially available on September 12 and it manages to be extremely moving, terribly funny and a page-turning quick read at the same time. I flew through it, even while literally sobbing at too many moments to count (don't let that scare you – it's still unbelievably uplifting, too). Again, I find it hard to express, the depth of my appreciation for this book, but I am very grateful to have the chance to talk with @michaelausiello about it. Come out and see us if you can!
