It’s time to catch up with “General Hospital” couple Lucas and Brad who are now engaged
Since I’m not a regular viewer of General Hospital and its gay characters appear a bit more sporadically than those on Days of Our Lives, I tend to binge watch the scenes with GH’s Lucas and Brad.
Caught up tonight and so much has happened since I last posted about this very attractive couple who, quite frankly, have far more chemistry than the Sonny-Paul-Will triangle in any configuration.
In these scenes, we see Lucas (Ryan Carnes) and Brad (Perry Shen) are living together, have proclaimed their love for each other and during the Nurse’s Ball, Brad proposed.
Lucas accepts and now his mom Bobbi is all eager to plan the wedding.
But there is a wrinkle involving Brad’s family who are not aware of Lucas and may not even know he is gay.
I vow to post more regularly about Brad and Lucas moving forward!

BRUCAS — Brad and Lucas, Soapdom’s first interracial gay couple (their General Hospital story line kicked off before the arrival of Paul in Days’ Salem) is a strong and positive old-fashioned romance wonderfully played by Ryan Carnes as Lucas and the multi-talented Parry Shen as Brad. All that is needed now is front-burner status for the romance. It is something Executive Producer Frank Valentini and Head Writer Ron Carlivati, who brought the soap world the KISH story line when they held the same positions on One Life to Live a few years ago, are certainly capable of doing in a grand way.
