It’s CNN’s Don Lemon vs. Jonah Hill – or, the “tool’ vs. “a 12 year old girl”
You might not want to invite CNN anchor Don Lemon and actor Jonah Hill to the same party anytime soon.
It seems to two had a face-to-face encounter in a New York City hotel on Thursday that was so unpleasant that it has resulted in a Twitter war.
‘Said hi to Jonah in a hotel,’ Lemon wrote in a tweet that kicked things off. ‘Think he thought I was a bellman. Didn’t know his name til the bellman told me. A lesson to always be kind.’
Lemon, in a subsequent tweet referred to the Moneyball star as ‘a tool.’
Hill fired back: ‘I said hi. What do you want me to do, move in with you? I was in a hurry. Didn’t realize you were a 12 year old girl. Peace.’
But there was no peace.
Lemon replied: ‘Hardly. You’re not my type. But I know rude. And u were.’
Hill responded with his side of the story: ‘I walked out of the restroom and found you waiting for me. Shook hands, said hi and was on my way. Sorry if you found that rude.’
Replied Lemon: ‘Was waiting for luggage. Bellman & I laughed at how self-important u were. Just being honest. Be nice. Stardom is fleeting.’
