Is Adam Lambert officially coming out on the cover of the next Rolling Stone?
I know Adam Lambert has never really been in the closet, he has just not discussed his sexuality since he became involved with American Idol – except for a few coy non-answers here and there.
I think this is brilliant!
The New York Post, quoting a “well-placed” source at Rolling Stone, said Lambert will put the speculation to rest in his cover-story interview.
“He didn’t want it to be an issue during the contest, but he’s fine with his sexuality,” the source tells the Post.
Rolling Stone would not comment on the Post story.
Idol judge Kara DioGuardi said on The View she thought questions about Adam’s sexuality had already been answered: “I don’t think that Adam was ever in (the closet),” she says in the interview, which aired today. “I think he was always openly out.”
And then there is this juicy tidbit from Access Hollywood when Adam is asked about Clay Aikin’s bitchy comments last week: “I don’t know Clay. I’m glad he’s getting headlines now though, because he wasn’t before. If he wants to ride my coattails about it, good for him.”
Good one Adam!
