In season premiere of ‘Nashville,’ Will Lexington is tempted by Murray Bartlett’s new character
Will Lexington might get torn between two lovers.
CMT premiered first season five of Nashville this week and the gay country singer is already struggling to remain faithful to songwriting partner Kevin Bick (Kyle Dean Massey).
It’s all due to the arrival on the scene of sexy and successful men’s fashion designer Jakob Fine (Murray Bartlett) who is putting on the moves pretty aggressively.
Will is hesitant but very attracted to Jakob.
Will has had an emotional and dramatic journey out of the closet during the show’s run so far but his storyline appears to now be taking a different turn.
Aussie actor Bartlett, who is openly gay in real life, played Dom for the two seasons of HBO’s Looking and its finale movie which aired last summer.
The country music drama Nashville was canceled by ABC last spring after four seasons. But the show has such a loyal fan base that it was picked up by CMT for its fifth season.
