Heartbroken Noah expresses his regrets to Luke; Reid tries to save sick and stubborn Chris from himself

Bravo to Jake Silbermann for his performance in today’s episode of As the World Turns. With the show just weeks away from ending and we loyal viewers preparing to say goodbye to his Noah, Van Hansis as Luke and Eric Sheffer Stephens as Reid (along with the rest of the characters in fictional Oakdale), it is nice to see Jake given a wonderful scene in which Noah expresses his love and his regret to Luke.

“I’m hurting like hell right now, and you’re not hurting at all, which makes it even worse,” says Noah who is about to leave for LA to begin his career as a filmmaker.

He tells Luke that he never would have come out, stood up to his crazy homophobe dad or pursued the film career had it not been for Luke’s support. He admits to Luke: “I’m still in love with you.”

But, it’s too late. Luke realizes that he and Noah are not right for each other and that he has found someone who is right for him: “I’m in love with Reid.”

He and Hansis brought their screen history to this scene today and it was a beautiful thing and the fact that this is all coming to an end is very sad!

Meanwhile, Chris continues to act crazy and goes golfing. Reid has brought in a doc to help save him and has to play golf with him a bit in order to do so. (See Reid playing golf below and observe a nice tush!)
