Happy Birthday to Kent McCord!
He was a lot of people’s first crush – including mine – and today the still very handsome Kent McCord turns 67 years old.
Best known for his seven-year run as officer Jim Reed on Adam 12, McCord starred in 175 episodes of the police drama opposite Martin Milner. He was also one of the leads in the ABC sci-fi series Galactica 1980, had a recurring role on seaQuest DSV in the mid-’90s. His semi-regular role of Jack Crichton on Farscape, a sci-fi TV cult hit that ran from 1999-2003, gained him lots of younger fans. There’s also been plenty of voiceover work, scores of television guest spots and some movies (Airplane II-The Sequel, Predator II, and Megiddo-The Omega Code 2).
“Make-believe is a wonderful way to make a living,” Kent told me a few years ago. “When you get into my age range — and for women it happens quite younger — you are being excluded from this American scene if you watch the programming that is going on. But there are people who revel in the fact that mature people can have interesting lives.”

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!! I love Kent McCord as a young man. So handsome and hot! I saw him once in hollywood and just went up to him and kissed him!! He said he loved the kiss and my low shirt!

I still love the show Adam12and Kent Mccord.I watch the show every day on fancast.com.After I watch the show I then watch my cable service.TVland or any other tv station need to bring the show back.Its a show you can watch everyday just like The Andy Griffith Show as I watch watch everyday also.So please if it is possible for you to find a way that to help bring the show back on air do so or advise me on how to.The original Adam 12, with Reed and mccoy.

When I was 12 or 13 years old I watched Battlestar Galactica on TV. Since that I liked him really a lot. Yesterday I watched it again and I still love him. Nothing has changed.

when i a kid in the 60s i was very young i was born in 61 and watch adam 12 and u where the best in adam 12 i am a very big fan of urs i also have return of the liveing dead 3 u r a great actor keep on acting look forward too seeing u in more movies and tv shows u and martin milner should have a adam 12 reuniun and it would be great mike
