Happy 77th birthday to the great Tyne Daly!

We celebrate the great Tyne Daly today because it is her 77th birthday!

Audiences who know Miss Daly best for her long-running and Emmy winning roles on Cagney & Lacey and Judging Amy (plus two years and another Emmy for Christy) may not be fully aware of what a Broadway diva she is.

I love watching her sing because she’s such a great actress and is never merely singing. She is delivering a full performance.
