Gus Kenworfthy talks to Ellen DeGeneres about Olympics and Mike Pence leading U.S. delegation

Silver medalist Gus Kenworthy is heading back to the Olympics in South Korea, but the LGBT activist admits to Ellen DeGeneres on today’s show that he thinks Vice President Mike Pence is a strange choice as the leader of the U.S. delegation to the Games.

3 Remarks

  1. Someone correct me if I am wrong. I was under the impression that the one who leads the delegation, carries the flag, is voted by their colleagues. Why in the hell is Pense there? Can someone please escort him to the VIP box.

  2. I wasn’t aware that Pence is the U.S. delegate to the Olympics. I imagine it is mostly an honorary position, buy I agree with Gus. Pence would be an unusual choice; if it weren’t for who happens to be our President.

  3. Seeing Pence lead the American Team would be terrible!
