Greg Rikaart makes Daytime Emmys pre-noms for delicious Leo Stark portrayal on “Days of Our Lives’

Ever since Greg Rikaart showed up as Leo Stark on Days of Our Lives, Salem has been a much more interesting place.

It’s been such a delicious performance each and every episode. He’s created an utterly delightful comedic villain who we don’t hate despite his dastardly deeds.

So I’m very happy to see that this Emmy winner for The Young and the Restless has a chance to win a second Emmy.

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) today announced the Drama Performer Pre-Nominations for the 46th Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards and Mr. Rikaart is among the 10 actors who have a chance to make the final nominations in the category of supporting actor. Nominations will be announced on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 and there are typically five nominees in each category.

Among the other Salem gays who are pre-nominees is Christopher Sean as Paul Narita. But three-time Emmy winner and five-time nominee Chandler Massey (Will Horton) did not make the cut this year nor did previous Emmy winner Freddie Smith who plays Sonny Kiriakis.

The other supporting actor pre-nominees are: Darin Brooks, as Wyatt Spencer on The Bold and the Beautiful; Max Gail, as Mike Corbin on General Hospital; Bryton James, as Devon Hamilton on The Young and the Restless; Thad Luckinbill, as JT Hellstrom on The Young and the Restless; Eric Martsolf, as Brady Black on Days of Our Lives; Wes Ramsey, as Peter August on General Hospital; Aaron D. Spears, as Justin Barber on The Bold and the Beautiful; and Dominic Zamprogna, as Dante Falconeri on General Hospital.

You can see a full list of the pre-nominees HERE.
