Greg in Hollywood readers can donate to Greg’s 5K fundraiser benfiting the Los Angeles LGBT Center
I have never asked for much but today, I’m going to ask for a little.
Since June 2017, I’ve been a full-time employee of the Los Angeles LGBT Center as the writer-editor in the Center’s Marketing and Communications department. I’ve gotten to see first-hand the truly amazing work the Center does in so many areas. It is the world’s oldest and largest LGBT organization and welcomes roughly 43,000 visits from youth and adults in need of health care, housing and hope.
The stories I write about the Center’s programs and services appear regularly on the LGBT News Now blog.
Anyway, I’m hoping you will help me support Los Angeles LGBT Center by making a donation through my fundraising page for the LA Big 5K Los Angeles LGBT Center Crew. This is the first time the Center is joining the LA Big 5K and I’ve committed to helping them achieve their $51,000 goal to honor their 51st year of service to the LGBT community.
A gift of $25, for example, would provide a full day of fresh meals, education and employment opportunites, and safety for an LGBT youth experiencing homelessness.
I’m looking for 35 Greg In Hollywood readers to donate $10 – or 10 readers to donate $35 – in order to raise $350 and put me over the $1,000 mark. I publicly thank all donors but you can also donate anonymously.

Thanks for your consideration and for your loyal readership each day!
