“Glee” star Jane Lynch wins her second Emmy – this time for hosting “Hollywood Game Night”
A big congrats to Jane Lynch who is now a two-time Emmy winner.
The actress, who won her first Emmy for her portrayal of Sue Sylvester on Glee, picked up the second trophy tonight for hosting NBC’s Hollywood Game Night.
And she beat out that bitch Betty White too!
(Kidding, of course – love Betty but she’s got at least 6 or 7 of these!)
While the Primetime Emmys will be handed out next Sunday many categories were presented at tonight’s Creative Arts Emmys at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
Jane won in the category of Outstanding Host For A Reality Or Reality-Competition Program.
Her competition was the bitch who hosts Betty White’s Off Their Rockers, Tom Bergeron of Dancing With The Stars, Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn of Project Runway, Cat Deeley of So You Think You Can Dance and Anthony Bourdain of The Taste.
Jane was also nominated in the category of Outstanding Narrator for Penguins: Waddle All The Way but lost that Emmy to Jeremy Irons who narrated Game Of Lions. Jane was in terrific loser company. Among the other nominees were James Bond himself Daniel Craig and EGOT winner Whoopi Goldberg.
Ironically, Lynch is not a nominee for Glee this year. The show’s upcoming sixth season will be its last.
