Gene Simmons thinks coming out might have ruined Adam Lambert’s career – but hopes he’s wrong
I find this interview with Gene Simmons very annoying.
The KISS front man said in interview with AOL that American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert “killed his career because now the conversation is not about his talent but about his sexual preference. He’s done.”
Can you believe this guy?
Then he adds: “I hope I’m completely wrong. I hope he becomes the next Beatles and proves me wrong. Adam was fantastic. What a powerful and attractive man he is. He can come on tour whenever he’d like.”
Stop talking now.
Simmons is entitled to his opinion, of course, but I don’t think he realizes that the world is changing – for the better – and that the young fans who will be going to Adam’s concerts and buying his music don’t much care about whether he likes girls or guys.
This isn’t the 70s Gene.

I disagree completely. His fans are females and gay men. Adam’s working with Lady Gaga’s Redone. The album will be a hit.

The guy is a dunbder head, he proves it tim after time. Remebr his dismissal on THE APPRENTICE. He spouts his opinions out like his tongue without considering the facts. I wonder if he knows how many gay fans he actually has behind him.
