Gay brothers Sam and Dan among the final four teams still competing tonight in “The Amazing Race”

When it comes to CBS’s prime-time shows, Sam MacMillen and Dan MacMillen have been the most high-profile openly gay people on the network!
Tonight, they continue their quest to win the race. Since last week in Prague was a non-elimination round, there are still four teams competing for the $1 million first prize.
Last week, Dan and Sam royally ticked off fellow competitors Brian and Ericka when they took off in a taxi the couple had asked to wait for them. The brothers offered the driver more money to take them and effectively strand Brian and Ericka. Brian shouted to his wife, “Let this be some motivation. The brothers are trying to steal our taxi right now.” Ericka screamed, “Don’t you dare! You better wait!” The driver told the brothers, “It’s my car. Let’s go.” A stunned Brian said, “They’re jackin’ our taxi. Game on.” Later Ericka added, “They just proved that they are jerks for doing that. We’re not working with anybody, ever, anymore. It’s over.”
It’s gotten ugly!
The brothers have so far survived 10 legs of the worldwide race finishing first during two legs and second the past two weeks.
A highlight for the brothers – and viewers! – came a few weeks back in Estonia when a challenge required Sam and Dan to strip off their shirts and play volleyball in waste-high mud!And boy, who knew the boys in Estonia were so absolutely beautiful?

One Remark

  1. I really enjoyed this episode but couldn’t figure out why CBS felt the need to fuzz out their crotches so much during the volleyball match. I mean, really… what can you see through a pair of cargo shorts? The boxer briefs I could understand (I guess).
