Friday Morning Man: Mark Collier!
It’s so much fun flipping through a new copy of
Soap Opera Digest and discovering a hunk you’ve never seen before.
That happened to me the other day when I came across a photo of this delicious man: Mark Collier.
He is best known for his role as Mike Kasnoff on the old CBS soap As the World Turns on which he appeared from 2003-09.
Mark also did guest spots on CSI Miami and Beverly Hills 90210.
The 41-year-old actor was born in Boynton Beach, Florida and is an exotic mix of Choctaw Indian, French and Irish ancestry.
Mark attended Georgia Southern University where he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and graduated with a degree in Accounting. He moved to LA to pursue acting in his late 20s and juggling jobs as a bouncer, waiter, and Pilates instructor while studying acting and becoming a member of the Blue Sphere Alliance theater company.
Hr remains active in theater appearing in productions of Lovers and Strangers, Lone Star, and Six Degrees of Separation.
Daniel says:
Happy to hear I am not the only guy out there who reads SOD.
Maleka says:
Ditto that. I miss ALL MY CHILDREN so much!
Robin Quincy says:
Greg, the photo of the guy with the blonde woman is of Paul Leyden, NOT Mark Collier. They both appeared on ATWT however.
David says:
I always loved watching Mark on ATWT and wondered if he might be “family”…
Mark F. says:
He’s gorgeous!! And as far as Soap Opera Digest, that makes four of us!! Been a loyal Digest reader since 1997, and a soap fan even longer!!
ND Mitchell says:
OMG…he is super fine. Currently, you can see him in the TV commericals for that product you place across your nose to sleep better. I think it’s called Sleep Tight.
