Friday Morning Man: Dan Simon!
So how come I’ve never noticed CNN’s Dan Simon before?
He’s a correspondent in the San Francisco bureau and as I watched his report last night on Jaycee Lee Dugard, my mind wandered from the story over to Simon’s nice hair which was blowing ever-so-slightly in the breeze.
Yum.
Here’s what I found out about the handsome newsman. HeĀ was named to this position in April 2006 after working as a freelance correspondent for CNN reporting on the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina from New Orleans. He’s covered a wide range of stories for CNN since joining the network, including the national debate on illegal immigration and the search for Utah polygamist Warren Jeffs.
Dan used to be a Los Angeles-based correspondent for Celebrity Justice and his coverage of high-profile court trials led him to frequent guest appearances on CNN, NBC’s The Today Show and Dr. Phil. He also won seven local Emmy awards as a reporter for KSAZ in Phoenix.

He also used to be a news reporter with a local station in New Orleans … and you’ll be happy to know he’s GAY!
He and his partner used to frequent all the gay haunts around town. This was several years ago and he was even better looking then.
Dave Smith says:
He is definitely not gay. Sorry guys.
