Friday Morning Man: Cole Hauser!
Cole Hauser is one of the stars of the promising new NBC action series Chase which, judging from what I’ve seen so far, has the potential to be a big hit!
That was not the case with Cole’s most recent series K-Ville which was canceled by Fox after just 10 episodes. It was set in and filmed in New Orleans post-Hurricane Katrina.
The 35-year-old actor has had more film credits than television roles starting with such well-regarded flicks as School Ties and Dazed and Confused as well as a role in 1997′s Good Will Hunting. He went on to have roles in Hart’s War and Tears of the Sun both with Bruce Willis, 2 Fast 2 Furious, and Tyler Perry’s The Family That Preys.
It’s nice that Cole has built such a nice career for himself so that he won’t be best known the guy who was in the company of Dazed and Confused co-star Matthew McConaughey in 1999 on the night McConaughey was arrested for playing the bongos in the nude and pot possession!
Cole’s Hollywood pedigree was already set though: His paternal grandfather was Academy Award-winning screenwriter Dwight Hauser and his maternal great grandfather was Harry Warner, founding partner of Warner Bros.
