Friday Morning Man: Brandon Flowers!
I may not know much about rock music, but I do know cute when I see it and that’s why cutie Brandon Flowers is today’s Morning Man.
Brandon was featured in yesterday’s Calendar section of the LA Times so I read all about the man best known best known as the frontman, vocalist and keyboardist of the Las Vegas-based rock band The Killers and earlier this year, the 29 year old announced his solo career.
He has a new solo album, Flamingo, coming out and recently performed at The Troubador in LA.
Brandon grew up in Henderson, Nevada near Las Vegas and is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. While the Mormon Church heavily financed the Prop. 8 campaign and the singer has said that his religion is “very important” in his life, he is also known to have a liberal position on gay rights.
He told The Advocate in 2008: “Whether I knew it or not, or found out later, a lot of the music that I grew up on tended to be made by gay men. A lot of my heroes were and are gay men.”

Brandon doesn’t support same-sex marriage equity and he tithes 20% of his income to the Mormon Cultists who would like all gays to just disappear. I liked him much better when he wasn’t famous and was gay. Now he’s famous he has a sham Mormon marriage and his music kinda sucks. Sorry Mr. Flowers but you failed.

What does it matter if he’s Mormon, gay, or Chinese? Mormons are a little weird but they are the NICEST people on the planet. The fact is he’s super talanted. Someone please turn up the new album so we don’t have to listen to GGREEN say something stupid again…
