Friday Morning Man: Anthony G. Brown!

Anthony G. Brown, the U.S. Representative for Maryland’s 4th congressional district, endorsed Pete Buttigieg yesterday.

“I firmly believe that Pete Buttigieg is the guy to lead our nation after we defeat Donald Trump and have to pick up the pieces and repair the damage of the last four years,” Brown told The Washington Post. “He’s well-versed and studied and really diligent about the issues from a policy standpoint.”

This handsome 58 year old politician is a most impressive man. He is Maryland’s former lieutenant governor, served two four-year terms in the Maryland House of Delegates, and is a retired Colonel in the United States Army Reserve, having served in the U.S. Army for over thirty years. While lieutenant governor, Brown was the highest-ranking elected official in the nation to have served a tour of duty in Iraq.

Brown, first elected to Congress in 2016, is also a graduate of Harvard University and Harvard Law School.

2 Remarks

  1. I believe the same about Pete Buttigieg and looking at this guy, damn, hot.

  2. When he was running for governor of Maryland he made the round to a great many ethic charities. I was at a charity award dinner. I was the only black person sitting at a table. Everyone else was white. He spoke and shook everyone’s hand at the table, even someone who didn’t speak English. But he never shook hands with me. At first I was hurt because it was clear to the rest of the table he didn’t shake my hand. Then I thought maybe he thought, foolishly, that I was a shoe in vote. I hadn’t decided at that point who I was voting for. Maybe he didn’t think I was important enough. I wasn’t a rich donor- although he wouldn’t have known that by just talking to people at the table. I have never forgot that moment. And every time I see him I doubt him because I think he lacks sincerity.
