Frank Ocean cited on NY Eve for marijuana possession, speeding and driving with a suspended license
Frank Ocean, winner of the 2012 Greggy Award for Music Star of the Year, got into a little bit of trouble on New Year’s Eve.
The six-time Grammy nominee was pulled over in Mono County, California for speeding – he was allegedly going 90 mph on the 65 mph zone.
Ocean was issued a notice to appear in court for speeding, driving with a suspended license, having his front windows tinted and marijuana possession. He was released on the spot and had to be driven home by his passenger since his license was also confiscated.
UPDATE: The singer has sent out a few tweets about the incident: ‘hi guys, I smoke pot. ok guys, bye.’ and ‘hi guys, i drive a M3, that bitch fast. ok guys, bye
