Flashback Friday: When a post-infomercial and pre-”Believe” Cher was on “The Rosie O’Donnell Show”

Cher’s nearly six-decade career has had many peaks and a few valleys. In 1996, Cher was on the comeback trail after a few years of ill health and a series of infomercials that are believed to have damaged what had been a red-hot Oscar-0winning movie career. It would be three more years before the icon would release the biggest hit of her career (Believe) when she was a guest on The Rosie O’Donnell Show. She looks terrific and seems happy to be coming back with the release of what was a terrific album, It’s A Man’s World with the wonderful version of Walkin’ in Memphis and the lovely One By One. Rosie was still young and giddy about meeting stars she grew up enjoying. It’s like a time capsule!
