Five of my favorite screen kisses…
It’s Friday and a good time for something fun and a little sexy. So why not share with you some clips of some of the better same-sex kisses that I have seen in films. These are scenes where the actors – whether they are gay or straight – don’t hold back and really go for it. Let’s start with this long one from one of my all-time faves: The Mostly Unfabulous Social Life of Ethan Green.
Sometime between Growing Pains and Titanic, Leonardo DiCaprio played a poet in Total Eclipse which called for lots of kissing and sex scenes. As you can see in the clip above, Leo was quite convincing as a gay man.
I love Kiss the Bride and not just because it stars Phillipe Karner, my favorite bartender at The Abbey. It’s sweet and fun and, well, it has a good kissing scene. Plus, it co-stars Tori Spelling!
Admit it, every since seeing Colin Farrell in Tigerland almost a decade ago, you’ve wanted to eee him making out with another guy. Well, it happened in the drama A Home at the End of the World.
I save the absolute best for last. This is Thomas Jane and Vincent D’Onofrio in Velocity of Gary. This is a hot kiss and yup, there is tongue.

Great gathering. I didn’t know a couple of them and they are nice, tender and hot. Except for the Colin Farrel one, cause he told that he felt disgusted, etc, afterwards. Yes, Colin Farrel…

I love that you included ‘Battle Strip’ from ‘Kiss the Bride’. I loved that movie, and not just because the men were cute, and my friend Levi had 3 songs in it; but I thought it told a great story. The fact that ‘KtB’ didn’t have a traditional ending I thought was great, and it showed how love can change over time.
While ‘Ethan Greene’ wasn’t a great film, I always want to see more of David Monahan. I fell for him when he played Toby on ‘Dawson’s Creek’. I’d really like to see him get more work.
