He is in the news business…He should know better…You may think it but don’t say it…He thinks he is one of the pretty people/gays…I have been over this type for years…You may look pretty but your heart is black as coal…

With all due apologies and respect, I am confused why you would post this.
I won’t argue the morality of someone getting terminated from a job for something they posted on social media; I was fired from The Standard because I posted several angry (and VERY unprofessional) comments on my blog some 15 years ago about the homophobic and transphobic environment there. I didn’t say anything that was untrue, but I did post public comments that weren’t what the company was looking for in an employee, to say the least.
I don’t regret it. I was miserable there. But I do completely understand why I was let go.
This guy posted a fat-shaming tweet that singled out obese people. As someone who just received my first vaccine yesterday (and yes, my arm hurts, but it’s more annoying than major, LOL), I had to answer a bunch of questions about medical conditions and so on even though I now qualify for the vaccine because I’m over 18. Which leads me to believe that’s because there are a lot of medical conditions that make certain people more susceptible to COVID.
And yet he chose to complain specifically about people who are obese, with the natural insinuation that they are to blame for being obese. So they deserve to get COVID and die?
The idea that a pretty boy reporter would think of himself as an “essential” worker blows my mind. Nip slip and all.
Again, I’m not sure why you posted this. I’ve followed you for years. But if you are posting this as proof that some people are just clueless and (ironically) mean, then you nailed it.
But I’m also cool with not seeing posts about a-holes who think they’re better than others for no reason other than they think they’re better than others. And it pisses me off that he quotes Taylor not just once but twice, LOL.

This is hilarious. This guy makes judgments about obese people and is now upset when people judge him for his vulgarity. What a moron!!
Marty says:
He was not fired for posting a tweet about fat people he was fired for posting a graphic sex video on instagram. But worse he also took no responsibility for that and said a friend posted that video to be funny.

Your reaction Tommy is perplexing and way over the top. This guy subbed on the NBC Nightly News. It’s a huge fall from grace and this post was insight into how he was coping – or not coping. He clearly gets under people’s skin but I will post about him whenever I think it’s relevant.
