Ellen boots Kim Burrell from her show after gospel singer goes on anti-gay rant during church sermon
Anti-gay gospel singer Kim Burrell will not be appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week as scheduled.
Ellen has posted a short tweet which stated: ‘For those asking, Kim Burrell will not be appearing on my show.’
Burrell went on a massive anti-gay rant over the weekend warning that all homosexuals will die in 2017.
In a sermon, she claimed homosexuality is an evil spirit and blames gay men for the spread of AIDS.
She also said homosexuality embarrasses the kingdom of God.
Burrell, featured on a song with Pharrell Williams entitled I See a Victory, is a pastor who told her congregation: ‘Anybody in this room who is filled with the homosexual spirit, pray God to free you.’
She also said: ‘That perverted, homosexual spirit is a spirit of delusion and confusion. If you, as a man, will open your mouth and take a man’s penis in your face, you are perverted. If you are a woman and you shake your breasts in another woman’s face, you are perverted.’
For those asking, Kim Burrell will not be appearing on my show.
