“Eastsiders” earns Emmy nods for Digital Drama Series, Van Hansis, Kit Williamson, John Halbach and Stephen Guarino

I am just thrilled about this.

The terrific series Eastsiders earned multiple Daytime Emmy nominations today including one for Outstanding Digital Drama Series.

Van Hansis, who is one of the series co-leads with series creator Kit Williamson, was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Digital Series. It is the fifth Emmy nod for Hansis who was nominated for the same role in 2016. He had previously been nominated three times for his performance on the daytime soap As the World Turns.

Williamson was nominated for writing and directing.

John Halbach, who is married to Williamson in real life, was nominated in the supporting actor category. He is co-executive producer of the series with Williamson.

Among Halbach’s competition is Stephen Guarino who plays the role of Quincy and provides some of the biggest laughs on the series.

Congrats to all involved in Eastsiders – each nomination is well deserved!
