Debbie Reynolds is hospitalized after adverse reaction to prescription drug – cancels shows
Debbie Reynolds looks and acts so young that you forget she is 80 years old (I took this photo of her in April at the TCM Film Festival).
So it is concerning that the unsinkable Miss Reynolds, still so beloved after all these years, is in the hospital where she was taken after an adverse reaction to prescription medication.
Her rep says in a statement: “Debbie was hospitalized at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles due to an adverse reaction she experienced to a medication she was currently taking. On the advice of her doctors, Reynolds has been forced to cancel appearances and concert engagements for the next three months.”
Yikes!
Three months sounds like a long time for this always busy star whose film classics include Singin In the Rain, The Unsinkable Molly Brown and How the West Was Won.
Sending out best wishes to a Hollywood legend!
