Daytime Emmy Awards: Luke and Laura to reunite as presenters! Relive their 1981 wedding
I’ll be covering the Daytime Emmy Awards on Sunday and am looking forward to it!
I’ve just received word that daytime soap legends Tony Geary and Genie Francis will be reuniting to present an award. They, of course, are General Hospital’s Luke and Laura.
Francis has been on the show for various stretches over the years while Geary has remained a constant and won six Emmys along the way.
Luke and Laura’s classic November 1981 wedding ceremony & celebration was something no soap fan will ever forget. Elizabeth Taylor guest starred and introduced the role of Helena Cassadine, who places a curse on the newlyweds that would reek havoc on their lives for many years to come.

Greg, I (and for over 2 years, my husband Bruce) would not have become such a DAYS fan if you had not told your readers about the very beginning of the WilSon storyline. I have watched the Daytime Emmys online for the past two years and I am so glad it is on TVGuide (POP) channel tomorrow night! Are you going to be on E! or POP or which channel can we catch you?
