Days of Our Lives: Sonny finds out it was Paul’s blood that saved his life – Will being unprofessional

Will/Paul/Sonny is front burner right now and it’s been filled with great drama.

Today the tense confrontation between the trio resumed and it was funny to see a clueless John Black drop by and mention Sonny and Luke’s upcoming wedding anniversary.

The meeting leaves Will even more crazy and he goes home and starts angrily writing a story outing Paul as a DeMira which I’m not convinced is true. I do hope Will’s career as a ‘journalist’ is short-lived because he’s completely unprofessional.

Meanwhile, the look on Sonny’s face is priceless when he learns it was Paul’s blood that saved his life after the stabbing.

  1. Why, oh why on soaps are members of the Fourth Estate more constantly and universally maligned than mobsters, cops, prostitutes and politicians?

  2. Okay, I’ll admit: the writing for Will is questionable at best. But the more I watch Guy Wilson, the more difficult it becomes for me to buy into this story. His work is so distractingly weak. It is so tiresome and one dimensional. I try to give him a chance over and over again. Now, I am struggling to even tolerate him when he’s on screen. DOOL needs a serious RECAST! God Bless he makes me tired.

    Daniel Lewis Frommherz says:

Seems the writers of DOOL have created an immature Will in his first affair and that immaturity really isn’t all that impossible to imagine in real life. If you are a watcher of the human spirit you will eventually fall witness to an anything goes under stress situation and Will certainly is stressed so it will probably get worse before it even starts to get better with Sonny holding out is not helping the situation.

  4. When Guy Wilson started airing as Will and was getting all the hate directed at him, I urged everyone to give him a chance. Over the last few months, I am beginning to think it is not solely the writers who have ruined the character of Will. Watching scenes with Will are painful. There is NOTHING about him that is redeemable. Given the fact that his whole expose on Paul being a DiMera is about to blow up in his face, I am not hopeful that this actor is going to be able to handle those scenes any better. Please, DOOL, either recast Will or write him off.
