Days before turning 35, tennis hunk Tommy Haas turns back time and beats #1 player Novak Djokovic

Whenever I’m at a tennis tournament and Tommy Haas has a match, that’s where I’m at.

Sure, the German star is movie star handsome and all, but he also has one of the most exciting games to watch – so much variety and athleticism.

In seven days, Tommy will turn 35 which is senior citizen time in tennis.

But is he fading?

Nope! He’s surging and earlier tonight, he pulled off the upset of the year when he beat top-ranked Novak Djokovic 6-2, 6-4 in the fourth round of the Sony Open in Miami, one of the biggest tournaments on the tour.

He became the oldest man to beat a No. 1-ranked player in 30 years.

“These are the moments I appreciate the most, going on those big stadiums, big stages, playing against the best people in the world. Playing against something like Novak and coming out on top at this time of my career, it’s unbelievable. You know, it goes up as one of my most best wins of my career.”

Although Tommy was ranked #2 in the world in 2002, his career has been plagued by injury and at this time last year, he was ranked 125th. He’s now back in the top 20 – with a bullet!
