Darren Criss a huge draw on Broadway!

Darren-Criss_240.jpg Darren Criss only had a three-week run on Broadway in the musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying but he proved himself to be quite a box office attraction on The Great White Way.

Entertainment Weekly reports that with the Glee star in the lead, the show took in $1.3 million per week for a haul of more than $4 million.

Aside from Daniel Radcliffe’s final week in the show, an anomalous nine-show week that grossed $1.9 million, the revival had the three most lucrative weeks of its 11-month run with Criss in the leading role.

The ticket sales have consistently been at or near the production’s potential gross.

Kurt, Rachel, Finn, Mr. Scheuster and all the rest of the gang must be so proud!!!

3 Remarks

  1. For Darren Criss, the world is his oyster and he is only 24. His charisma and talent are an unbeatable combination and on top of that, he seems to be one of the nicest and most humble people. All the best to him. Even though I would miss him terribly on Glee, I hope he only stays for one more season. He needs to be free to do other projects.

  2. I’m really glad for Criss. He is so talented. I hope that his star only continues to grow!

  3. Inhope he continues to be the wonderful role model to young people that he has become. I will continue to watch him in whatever he does. He is amazing and so impressive to Listen to. I would hate to see him leave Glee after this season though. He has lots of time!
