CNN’s Anderson Cooper will play “Jeopardy” during “Power Players” week to benefit The Trevor Project
I think it’s so great that when Anderson Cooper plays on Jeopardy next week during “Power Players” week, that he has chosen The Trevor Project as his charity.
This wonderful LGBT non-profit works to prevent youths from killing themselves. We are seeing, right now, the hatred they have to face every day for being who they are. The North Carolina pastor who told his flock to “punch” effeminate boys – and no one in that congregation objected – is just one example of what they face.
Cooper will appear on the show on Friday, May 18 alongside New York Times columnist Thomas L. Friedman and NBC News Capitol Hill Correspondent Kelly O’Donnell.
